Our members come from every walk of life: men and women age 50+ who have lived and worked on the east end their entire lives; people who left for decades and decided to return "home"; people who have vacationed "out east" for years or even decades and decided to finally stay full-time; and people who took a drive or visited a friend, liked what they saw, and bought-into the east end lifestyle.
One of the commonalities among our members is that they have an independent spirt, they are curious and continually seeking personal growth in terms of meeting new people, learning new things, remaining socially involved, and avidly pro-active.
We also have members who lead quiet lives. They enjoy limited involvement with others; they prefer reading, staying home, and keeping their own company.
ALL ARE WELCOMED!
Our foremost mission is to provide what our members need to age-in-place, in their own homes, with the support that they need to remain independent of congregate care, i. e., assisted living or nursing homes.
